If you ever own your own business you should run it just like Dixie Horse and Mule Company, that's what I told my kids when I got home last night. This is quite possibly the best business I have ever had the pleasure of transacting with. Mike Bozeman was my first contact on the phone and our guide through this process I refuse to call him a salesman as he is nothing like any of the negative connotations that come to mind when one hears that word. He was easy going and knowledgeable and equally comfortable talking to me about hunting as he was my daughter about her horse. He was just a cool guy with a lot of trailers to show us, exactly whet we needed. Our trade-in started out as a mess because I didn't have the title for the old trailer. In stepped Jessica Little who made that problem go away with a few phone calls and strokes on her computer. She called me several times along the way to keep me posted on the progress of obtaining the title and I never worried about it because it was abundantly clear she had done this before and had it completely under control. What may have taken me months to take care of was done by her in 2 weeks. Fireball did our walkthrough on pickup day and wasn't satisfied until every latch, lock, and hinge worked to perfection. He was great, clearly knew the trailer well, and seemed proud of the product he was presenting to us. He made sure we had everything we needed before we left, including some things we would not have thought of. And along the way Mike Shaffer came out to introduce himself and provide his contact information should we ever have any trouble with how to work things or if something broke on the road. Cynthia had all of our paperwork ready so all that was left was to sign my name a few times, write a check, and hook up to my new trailer. My old one was gone so fast I barely got to say goodbye! And then the finishing touch, some DHMCO branded gear to take with us. I was looking for a shirt or hat to buy and was disappointed not to find one, and then y'all gave us some shirts, huggers and key chains--awesome.
From your website to your phone message to your property and inventory to your people, y'all definitely have a great understanding of your brand and how to treat customers. I was blown away by the entire process and feel grateful to have met all of you. I'll send any business I can your way because anyone who buys a trailer anywhere else is a fool!
