I hope this e-mail find you well. We purchased a four horse bunk house Bison gooseneck from you at Dixie Horse and Mule Co in aprox Dec/Jan 2012. We exported it to Australia, made all the relevant modification etc and have been using it for just over 12 months. We have had a few teething problems with it on our terrible Australian roads, but nothing we could not fix and adjust. We love it, the horses travel many, many miles in it and always arrive very happy.
Anyway, they have just done an article about it in the May issue of our Australian Horse Deals magazine. We explained we purchased it from you guys at Dixie Horse and Mule Co and how great you were to deal with. I have had over 20 phone calls since the article came out, from other horse exhibitors across Australia asking about you guys.
I have attached the article in case you receive an influx of enquiries from Australians wanting to know about goosenecks to Australia. If you end up having Australian wanting to export goosenecks, we are happy to give you the details of export agents etc to pass onto anyone else that wants to export one of your goosenecks to Oz.

These are the only people you ever need to talk to about purchasing a horse trailer. You can read my entire review on their webpage. But I can honestly say from the first phone call to Dan to actually picing up the trailer on 12/28/2012 it was nothing short of AMAZING. Each and every step was a pure joy, I wish I could remember each and everyones name to list them here, but Dan, Cindy, Pricilla, Mike and the rest. And this is coming from a NON - HORSE person. The ladies in the family are the riders, I might get invited to be a driver some day. LOL!!!! We picked up a 2013 Bison Trail Express 8310GLQ and I requested a surprise for my wife Silvia due to this was a birthday present. I just wanted to drop a line and let you know how much I'm enjoying my trailer. My husband has put in a cowboy shower and there is just enough room in the tack area for my small generator. We replaced that solar panel with a new one that has a built in controller and we're set for a LONG time. I absolutely love this trailer. No it's not brand new, but it's exactly what I needed. My horses seem to really enjoy the ride too.

Just wanted to tell you how much we love our trailer! We have traveled to a few shows now and have really liked the way it hauls, easy to set up, horses seem to travel well and stay cool. You guys were a pleasure to deal with and made the transaction easy and pleasant.
By the way - I had a trailer tire going flat on me when I arrived at a show in Clemson SC - I had picked up a screw somewhere - My husband was not with me and I couldn''''t loosen the lug nuts myself or I would have changed the tire without a problem - I was able to contact CoachNet and they had somebody there within an hour to change the tire for me - no charge. The added value of CoachNet has already paid off for us. And they were incredibly pleasant and helpful on the phone.

We just purchased our first Bison and chose the Stratus Express moving from a 36 foot Holiday Rambler Endeavor RV to a 10' LQ. It pulls like a dream and is definitely of superior quality. Hi Don, just wanted to take a moment and tell you how impressed my wife and I were with the service we received from Mike and Lori on Thursday April 7th. As usual I tried to jam too much into my day off and we where late in the day getting to your place to pick up our trailer. Lori was so patient and did not panic when it was 5 minutes until 5 and we still needed to contact our insurance company. She said dont worry, and she got it done. By then it was 5:15 and Mike should have been gone but he stayed to help us hook up the trailer. Naturally the lights did not work. Mike searched all over trying to find the correct fuse. I told him several times that we would just come back tomorrow. He said not to worry, he would find the fuse. He climbed up under the truck and the trailer and finally got all the lights working. By then it was after 6:00 and Mike was just as pleasant as he was all day.

I have had several problems with my new Sundowner Trailer that I purchased from Dixie Horse and Mule Company and I greatly appreciate Brook's efforts, kindness and attention to detail in correcting the problems. I have watched Brooks stop what he was doing and personally perform work himself and pay great attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction. I know DHMCO sales most of their horse trailers on line therefore, I do not know if many of your customers have the opportunity to actually meet your service staff. I just wanted to drop you a short note of thanks for the trailer and the cookies!. Our recent trailer purchase was simple, uneventful and totally pressure free. We traveled about 300 miles to buy from you and it was totally worth it. Even though we bought a used trailer we were treated like kings. When we came to pick up our trailer it had been washed, cleaned inside and all lights tested. The gentleman who helped me hook-up was very helpful especially since this is my first gooseneck trailer. The steel under the tongue was a little rusty and had been re-painted to look nicer.
If anybody ever asks me where to get a horse trailer, I will not hesitate to send them to Alabama.

My name is Denise McAnally and I just purchased a 2012 Bison Trailer. I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate Cindy and Mike! They went out of their way to make sure our purchase was not only what we wanted but also a extremely enjoyable experience. Cindy spoke with me numerous times, even took a call at 9:30 on a Friday night, to insure I understood my paperwork and that I was comfortable with everything and made sure I was offered all warranties and advantages that your company offers. Mike has to be one of the BEST salesmen I have ever dealt with! He stayed on the phone with me for three days ,day and night, working with us and answering every question we had. He even came out on his day off on a holiday weekend to meet us at your lot so that we could pick up our purchase just because that made things easiest for us. Please understand why all of this means so much to us. We live in New Iberia, Louisiana which is about a 9 hour drive to your lot. We contacted numerous dealers and sellers over the last year trying to find a new trailer, three of which were during this last past week. No one, even the local dealers in our area, were willing to work with us like Mike! I had begun to view trailer salesman like I do car salesman, just out for the money. Until I met Mike and Cindy. They really care about people and treated us like we were more than a commission check!!!!!!
When a company is interested in making the customer happy and building a relationship with their customers that is when you have a successful business! I will recommend Dixie Horse and Mule to anyone looking to buy horse trailers. Not only did we get a great product but more importantly we received two friends!

Just my suggestion but I would strongly consider giving them raises..they deserve it and so much more!!!

I got my horse trailer back from Camping World this past Friday. I appreciate you stepping up to make things happen on getting the generator problem repaired without me having to drag it to another repair vendor. Good customer service is hard to come by these days even with the less than desirable economic times. I have always thought of Dixie Horse and Mule when it comes to horse trailers and that is the reason I turned to you when I was ready to upgrade my trailer and always will.

I am VP of a rather large electrical contractor in Atlanta and we purchase hundreds of thousands of dollars of generators for our customers for buildings and data centers and lots of those purchases go to Cummins, so I was curious if Cummins would step up to the plate and make things right even for a small individual customer like me. Give my thanks to Donnie Davis for not passing the buck, but making things happen. He like you apparently realizes the value of top notch customer service.

I love this trailer and while I am still intimidated by it's massiveness I hope to get used to it. I have been driving gooseneck trailers since I was fifteen - so I am not worried - I have already had folks come by and ask about renting it - so if it does not work out I may work with you later on a swap with a 27 footer. I am not sure we can get it into the space where the Kiefer went but that's my problem - not yours!

So all I can say is WOW - what a beautiful and comfortable trailer we now own!

Tell Don I retire next year and may be available to be your East Coast rep or liaison - and while I am sort of joking - you will get nothing but high praise from me! I hope I can bring you in some sales in appreciation - just think of me as a satisfied customer - not interested in any kind of a commission but keep your eye out for me on a nice light-weight two-horse gooseneck with dressing room just give me a little time to absorb the cost of this trailer!. For now I will keep my Kiefer - I don't think it is worth much and it is certainly lightweight.

I bought my trailer from Dixie Horse and Mule. You can either go to their website and search under Bee Trailers or do a search of Bee Trailers in Horse Trailer Galore and you will find a new one they have in inventory.

Don Smith is the owner of the Dixie Horse and Mule and I believe him to be a good and honest man to do business with. He treated me more that fair when I bought my trailer AND when I decided to sell it. He gave me a bid on what he could give me for my trailer and suggested I put it in Horse Trailer Galore and gave me the retail value to help set the price. I sold the trailer in one week for more than his bid but of course less then the retail value. That was a very nice thing for him to do.

Got trailer home and it is awesome. I wanted to thank you and all your co-workers for the help and showing us how everything worked. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I have 1 question about the trailer that was not explained to us. The ouside vent for cooking stove has a plastic cover on it that is removeable. I assume that we take this off when using stove top and vent and put back on when trailer is setting in shed and not in use. Is this correct?

Dennis, thanks for the great walk through! We thought we would know this trailer since it seems exactly like our other one but it has quite a few upgrades! I can't remember the type of caulk you suggested to use on the roof of the trailer, so if you could email me, I'd appreciate it. Also, the chest bar in the first stall is not there. I didn't notice it missing when we were there yesterday. Is there a way I can get it? the hardware is there, no bar.

Mike, thanks for the advice on insulating the ceiling. We plan on doing that asap. Could you email me and let me know the spray adhesive again? I forgot. Also, we talked with Dennis about lp generators. What are your thoughts? I'd like something super quiet. Do you have a brand that you like best, and what are the numbers all about 35,000 - 28,000 or do I just need to make sure it has 30 amps. I see a lot with 27.5 amps, but is that enough? Also, we had spoken about the little added counter but didn't get back to that. Is that something my husband could put on - he's pretty handy. How much is it?

I just wanted to send a quick email to thank you for the wonderful Bee's trailer that you all custom ordered for me. I absolutely love our trailer! It has every thing we needed and wanted. I had concerns about the size even though its an ex-large trailer when we bought our Belgian who's roughly 18 hands and 2000 pounds, but he fits in it perfectly. I love all the extra details that Bee's Trailers put in, to be honest the rear tack was a shock since we ordered a mid-tack. But having two tack rooms means my husband and I can have a his and hers set up. I just can't thank you enough for helping me with my first trailer purchase!!

Rusty stands and stares at it and wants me to load him up, but I have to wait for my trainer, at this time and at my age, I don't need to have any injuries, I have enough already! You know, it is easy to give a referral when the follow-up on problems is as conscientious as yours was. It shows a person who really thinks about the customer and provides good customer service. As you probably have gathered, I work for Aflac and we STRESS customer service here. Sometimes to the detriment of the company, but as much as possible to the benefit of the customer.

I was using another Sundowner dealership in North Alabama, but after the treatment I received this past week on some warranty work I am actively looking for another repair shop. I even considered traveling to Sundowner of TN for warranty work. I currently have 2 Sundowners a bumper pull and an LQ. So I am happy to know that your shop will work on trailers other than the ones you sell. I will definitely check it out when I have something else to service on my trailers.

I had referred Debby before the birddog was in effect, but it is very much appreciated since I have a new mare that I hope to qualify for either the AMA World or the Select AMA World next year. Cash is going to be tight. So THANKS!

I decided to bring it home and deposit it at our home branch today. I'm sure they will not impose such a hold on it. I'll be putting it in the bank this afternoon after our girls get up from their naps.
